Art Deco Ceramics

Perhaps the most famous of Art Deco images come from the works of Clarice Cliffe. The images are usually of landscape scenes, but are in stylized form and use bright un-natural colours. This is a tea service by Clarice Cliffe. See how the trees are formed from big bold flat coloured shapes in bright primary colours.
This is a sculpture of a dancer in an Art Deco style. Note the geometric patterns on her dress.
