Producing Barcharts for a Survey
Learning Objectives:
- to learn how to collect appropriate data that can
be entered on to a spreadsheet and produce charts that display the data in
an effective way.

Task 1: The Survey
- Decide on the topic for a simple survey- for instance, favourite colours, soaps on tv, cars, music or whatever.
- Use Word to produce a questionnaire. Either print out this questionnaire and give it out or email it to other people in your class and ask them to complete the questionnaire.
Task 2: Charting the results
- Enter the data on your survey into a table in a spreadsheet.
- Produce charts from the table to show the results of your survey.
